Much of the work carried out by the Health Data Analytics Center will be incorporated into curriculum, especially at the interface of the College of Engineering to the new Carle Illinois College of Medicine. The Center is also a resource for student projects in key areas of scientific health analytics, especially those targeted towards particular subtypes of diseases and particular datasets. Similarly, the Center showcases current work, providing a range of useful tools for hospital and industry partners and others.
Through the existing relationship with the Mayo Clinic, future physicians and medical researchers learn with the value of analytical tools and technologies, directly influencing the state of the industry.
